Update September 2011
My number one focus as of summer 2011 is in the e-learning space as co-founder of ASA Interactive. We established ASA back in 2009 and as of now it is my full time commitment. One focus = yay!
Background
I spent 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry in project management and related I.T roles. During this time I worked on projects ranging from the design and roll out of a phase I management system to managing one of the industry’s largest clinical trial systems. It was also in the pharmaceutical sector where I cut my teeth on the design and deployment of web based social tools, a.k.a Web 2.0 and Enterprise 2.0.
I’ve worked across many functions and sectors on both the training side and development of Web 2.0 tools for business. As part of this work I often speak at industry events and host workshops / masterclasses for industry executives.
I also worked with a fantastic information and knowledge management platform called Knowledge Plaza. I helped bring the product to market working with Whatever Company who are based near Brussels, Belgium.
These last few years have been an exciting ride seeing me move from internal project management to more external consultative and sales focused roles. From seeing how business works from within and now externally I’m able to add even more value to assignments.
